Good Morning Sistahs,
I don't think it's possible to put into words how incredibly excited I am for Saturday. We are going to have so much fun! I figured I'd keep going with this week's homage to *Oldies but Goodies* with this card:
I made this one a while back, we'll call this period of cardmaking B.C. (Before Copics) {Sorry I couldn't help myself.} I paper pieced her dress with a shimmery cardstock run through my Cuttlebug. I think this is when I only had two embossing folders, the D'vine Swirls (which everyone else under the sun had,) and the Bloom Dots. I just didn't think the dots would be appropriate for a wedding day so I opted for the swirls. This also happens to be made with my all-time favorite cardstock color; Cool Caribbean. Of course I had to add BLING! I mean, could it really be a bridal card without bling? Of course not.
This was also the time when I started playing with one of my favorite adhesives of all-time: The Qwickie Glue Pen. Oh my goodness, I absolutely love it. It is such a fine line of glue that you get, and the glitter sticks beautifully to it. It truly goes with me where ever I go. If you haven't ever used it, believe me it is so worth it. Once you buy it, you'll never want to put it down. I also find that it's perfect for gluing letters together from die cuts or from my Cricut. You know, the think QuicKutz ones, Abigail I believe. The skinny letters you want adhered work perfectly with this pen.
