...would be just as nutty. Oh my goodness, that was lame! (My apologies for being so cheesy this early in the morning.)
Good Morning Sistahs!
I am happy to show you the next card on my list o' cards to make. This one is for the Kitchen Sink Contest for Best Use of a Sentiment. Now, looking at it in Photoshop, I realized that I totally should have made the green behind the sentiment chocolate instead. Ahhh...such is life. (If I knew how to spell "cest la vie" correctly I would have said that instead.)
This is the card I made with my free set from last month. I love this little squirrel guy! Isn't he adorable? I mean seriously! And he's so low maintenance, just a few fake acorns and he's good to go. Now, I must admit that I have never seen an acorn in real life. GASP! (Martha would be so disappointed in me.) I had to ask my son what they looked like. He informed me that my colors were off a bit, but I decided that it was close enough, so acorn people, please forgive me.
The paper is from a Basic Grey 6 x 6 pad, so I don't know the name, but it's flippin' cute.(I found it, it's called Polished.) I rarely use DP these days, (mostly because it scares me.) I also used PTI's Dark Chocolate Cardstock, and it is heavenly!! I highly suggest you purchase some if you haven't already. It truly is divine. I also used SU!'s new In Color Kiwi Kiss, which I didn't think I would like as much, but I have been diggin' on it for the past few days. (I am still in mourning over the loss of Wild Wasabi.)
Now, you may think this is a belated birthday card, but it's not. Nope, it's for my friend who just had her dog neutered. LOL Okay, I'm kidding. It is a belated birthday card, (my son didn't think the neutered dog bit was one bit funny either.) Now all I have to do is forget someone's birthday. Geez! Will it ever end? I must be in a mood.
Well, I'd better get going before someone starts throwing tomatoes at me or gets one of those long canes and yanks me from the stage. I hope you all have a fabulous week!
