Good Evening Sistahs!
I only have a few minutes so this is going to be a quick post. I have some very exciting news and a fun card to share. I love playing along with Taylor's Cupcake Challenges and since I was gone last week, I put it on the top of my priority list for this week. So here my sistahs, is my take on this weeks Cupcake Challenge.
All I could think about when I was making this card was the Bob Marley Song, "Three Little Birds." (In fact, I'm singing it to myself right now. *giggle) "Don't worry, about a ting, 'cause every little ting, is gunna be alright." Aren't these the cutest little birds from The Greeting Farm? It's from the set Wild Things. Each little bird was colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up on top of yet another chalk created sky. Then, I took cut out an extra birdie beak for each of them, covered them with glossy accents, and popped them up too.
Now for the Save the Date Part!
If you are a fan of The Greeting Farm, and you live in Colorado, you are going to want to mark your calendars for Saturday, April 18th. You are going to want to reserve the ENTIRE DAY for some ink, paper & fun!

I am MORE than bummed I can't make it on the 18th!!! Ah well, I know it will be a huge success even without my shining presence, LOL. Thanks for meeting me yesterday and I love how the card turned out! I need to figure out those clouds, I love that effect!

Very cute card. It looks like you got Snow blindness from coming back to the Colorado Blizzard, but the blue mats make it not quite so bright. I love your 3 little birdie idea.
