Good Morning Sistahs!

Lisa's challenge is a sketch challenge. Oh how I love sketch challenges. *giggle Feast your eyes on this one sistahs...
...and here's what I decided to do with it:
Aren't the duckies too cute? They're from the Sink's newest set: Multi Step Ducks & Pigs. I just couldn't resist putting these duckies in the water. I love how it looks like they're swimming instead of standing around. And how about that sentiment? What's quack'n? Too Cute! It makes me giggle every time I see it. I also used a small stamp from the Big & Bold Swashes set to create the bursts at the top.
Now, you all know how much I love putting glossy accents on my cards, so this card is no exception. But, rather than squeeze it on directly from the bottle, I decided to use a paintbrush and paint it on so it would give the gloss that I want, without the wait. (I even wiggled the brush back and forth while I was applying it so you can see the texture that makes it look even more like water.) Unfortunately it didn't photograph well enough for you to see it, but trust me, it's there. *wink

How did you do that without completly covering up thier PHEETS!???? What a ducky card! I really like it. Who else would think to put ducks where they go? "Smile" And I love that sentiment. I think you should send it to "B" at camp!

How did you do the water.... making it look so transparent? I bet the glossy accents really gives the illusion of water! Awesome!!!!! :D
