Good Morning Sistahs!
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! I'm going to have to say that this is my favorite time of year. I feel like I'm surrounded by such beautiful colors....Wow! Okay, enough about the seasons...*giggle On with the show.
I am LOVING the newest releases from Kitchen Sink Stamps. They are all so amazing and allow such beautiful images to come to life. Today's card uses the Multi-Step Giant Sunflower set. Is it not just the best?
This layout is from Taylor's Cupcake challenge, and I knew this sunflower would be right at home as the focal point of this card.
Step 1: Barely BananaStep 2: Summer Sun
Step 3: So Saffron
Step 4: Creamy Caramel
Step 5: Close to Cocoa
After I stamped all the layers, I decided to go over the So Saffron layer with my Spica pens to give it just a little more sparkle. It's hard to see it, so I zoomed right on it and captured a bit of the magic for you.
The Spica pens add just enough color and sparkle to give the image some nice depth. Wouldn't you agree?
Now that you've shared in my joy, it's time to see what the rest of the gals have created for you today.

Thanks for stoppin' by!

I love the layout, the image, and the colors, but I am not wild about the DP. I do like how you created a "stem" though. It stands out nicely.
