Good Morning Sistahs!
Now that my birthday's over, I can officially begin Christmas. It's one of those December birthday things I suppose. *giggle Well, I actually get to go visit my mom for a week, and I wanted to give her something useful this Christmas, kinda like an early stocking stuffer. Our favorite part of Christmas is wrapping the presents. So much care and love go into each gift, that I decided to make her some gift tags.
As much as I wanted to add a little bit of ribbon to the end, I decided against it because she loves those great big bows and I didn't want to distract from that by having random ribbons hanging around.
I loved my gingerbread men so much from last week, that I decided to use him again.
(Step 2: Creamy Caramel, Step 3: Close to Cocoa, Step 1: More Mustard)
Next I wanted to play with the Peppermints from the Multi Step Build A Garland set:
(Step 1: Pink Pirouette, Step 2: Rose Red, Step 3: Riding Hood Red) Then I covered them with my all time fave: Glossy Accents.
Next I decided to use the big delicious bow from the Garland set too. Doesn't it just look too real?
(Step 1: Pink Pirouette, Step 2: Regal Rose, Step 3: Rose Red, Step 4: Riding Hood Red) After I stamped the images, I colored some parts in with my Spica Glitter Pen. If you look real close, you can see it.
And finally, here's my glittery deer from the A Year of Thanks II set.
These are so simple and cute, that I just might have to make some more to give as hostess gifts when I visit family and friends over the next few days. Hmmmmmm....
