Good Morning Sistahs!

I know it's been a while since I've had a Greeting Farm Friday project to share with you...but it is of course a very special card.  My dear friend Carisa is now past her due date with her precious baby boy, and I figured he didn't want to make his appearance until his very own card was posted and ready to go.  I have had this card FOREVER, and when I went to her baby shower, I managed to leave the card at home.  I have been promising to post it, but wanted to wait until The Greeting Farm officially released it for sale.  So here we are...in all it's glory...Oliver from the Oliver & Amelia - Oh Happy Day set.  

 

All the cardstock is Bazzill and I'm SO SORRY I don't know the names of all the colors.  I'll try to be better next time. *giggle.  The DP is something I found at Archiver's and I can't remember who makes it either.  (Wow...I'm really letting you all down today aren't I?)  Sorry.

Well Carisa, now you can have that baby boy!

Sorry my post is up so late...I haven't forgotten about you, it's just that The Boy was up late using the computer for homework, and I didn't get to get my post ready until this morning.  

So I have had this Dahlia image forever, and I have been wanting to put her on a card for the longest.  FINALLY she makes her TGF Friday debut:

 

I made this card for my friend Neec, her birthday is Monday...and I love creating things for special occasions.

Good Morning Sistahs!

I'm so stinkin' excited that it's finally October! I absolutely love the fall because the air is crisp and it means pumpkin flavored everything is on its way. *giggle  It's also the month of my son's birthday.  I can hardly believe he's going to be 18 in just a few weeks.  Egads!  Not only does October mean autumn, it also means Halloween!  Woo Hoo!

In honor of my favorite time of year, I decided to make a card that I could send to my mummy....errrr...I mean Mommy. *giggle

It's kinda hard to see, but I embossed the little squares and also around the edge of the card.  I LOVE clean and simple cards, they are so fun to create!  Well, before I keep you here too long, you should go check out what the rest of the Greeting Farm Friday girls came up with.

TGIF! I can't believe another Friday is here.  Woo Hoo!  I have had this image of Reeta colored for a while, and figured it was about time I put her on a card.

What do you think Sistahs?

I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I made her for my cousin who absolutely LOVES cats.  Originally I wanted it to be a birthday card, but since her birthday is long gone, I figure I could just send her a note of love.

Good Morning Sistahs!

School is back in session and I'm still trying to get my bearings straight.  It's always hard the first few weeks to get acclimated, but I think the transition is going rather smooth.  I have a wonderful group of kiddos and the partner teacher I work with is just amazing. Ahhhhh.....life is good.

Well, The Greeting Farm has closed their DT call, and YET again I have been rejected.  *Insert sad face with a single tear rolling down the cheek.  So I have decided to share my loser card with you today.  Marie asked for a card with a Circus Theme, and this is what I came up with....

Originally she was going to be the bearded lady, but once I put her on the trapeze bar, I couldn't bring myself to give her a beard. *giggle  I was so excited to use my new Copic Airbrush System too.  I cut out the oval using my Nesties, then airbrushed the spotlights from the corners and then created the audience as if they were looking up at her.  She's a vision in yellow isn't she? *giggle

Good Morning Sistahs!

It's Friday, it's Friday, it's Friday!  Woo Hoo!  I love Fridays, don't you?  Especially when I get to share some of my favorite stamps with you. *giggle  I absolutely LOVE the Nurse Anya image, and I'm so excited that I have finally put her on a card.  (It took me long enough didn't it?) *wink

I was going to put 3 buttons in the corner and add a sentiment to the bottom and call it good, but wouldn't you know that I couldn't find 3 small buttons that matched?  I mean seriously.  So as I was sorting buttons, I realized I had about a bajillion (yes, that's a technical term,) red buttons like the one shown on this card.  Well what's a girl to do but use the buttons to her advantage. *wink I decided they would look fabulous as a background and set to work lining them up.  What do you think sistahs?  You likey?

Good Morning Sistahs!

It's time once again for my favorite day of the week...Greeting Farm Friday!  Woo Hoo!  Oh yeah, it's Friday!!  Okay sorry, I'm so incredibly excited because I'm actually happy with the way I colored Megan.  I know right?!?!  Yes sistahs, I often find that once I've colored something I just don't like the way it has turned out.  Sometimes it's the colors, sometimes the shadowing, sometimes it's just plain old lack of mojo.  Fortunately I think my Mojo is in full swing.  What do you think about this card?

You'll be so proud of me sistahs, because I actually used some DP for this one.  Marie and I were talking last night about how I rarely use DP, so I decided to push myself and try to use some.  Not only did I use some, but I also used a piece from one of those stacks.  You know which ones I mean, the ones where you buy them thinking...,"I could totally use this!", and then you get home and it sits on the shelf.  Or is it just me? *giggle  Anyway...What do you think?  Is she "Absolutely Fabulous"?

Good Morning Sistahs!

Where did this week go?  I know it seems like I'm always saying that, but I truly do wonder where it went! *giggle  Did you get a chance to scope out The Greeting Farm's blog hop from this weekend?  The newest releases are the cutest yet!  I'm so happy that I get to show off my newest stamps to you my Greeting Farm Friday Sistahs.  Behold Bree:

Wouldn't you just love to have her delivering your mail?  I absolutely adore her!  When I first started coloring her, I was not liking the way it was turning out, but the more I colored, the more I decided it was going to work. I'm so glad I stuck it out.  *wink

I decided to use the Tuesday Morning Sketch to bring her to life.  If you haven't checked out the sketches featured there, you definitely need to.  Melissa has a great DT and some fabulous sponsors, you don't want to miss out.

Happy ANYAversary!

Good Morning Sistahs!  

Today is the day we've all been waiting for!  That's right....The Happy ANYAversary Blog Hop!  I'm so excited to be a part of it!  (The official Blog Hop List can be found {Here} and {Here}.)  Hopefully you arrived here from Anela Navarro's blog.

I happen to know that one of Marie's favorite images is Hello Ian, so how could I NOT use him to celebrate The Greeting Farm's one year ANYAversary?

Isn't he adorable?  I can see why Marie loves him so much.  His hat, his knickers and his scarf just make him so stinkin' cute.  

I want to send a great big Thank You to Jessica for all your hard work keeping The Farm running so smoothly.  You truly are a gem!

And to Marie, here's to a fabulous year, and to the many more that will follow!  I'm so excited that I'm able to share in this momentous occasion with you.  I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us.
